Accomplishments

Interaction and sharing despite the colour difference

Our past accomplishments include:

  1. More than 50 volunteers have participated in our program. Volunteers have come from America, Britain, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Czech Republic and Australia. [Read the testimonial page.]
  2. We have established a laboratory for mushroom seed production which caters to 4 regions of the country.

  1. We collaborated with Marian Inguanzo of The Institute for Puerto Rican Hispanic Elderly of New York and established the Tanzania Intergeneration Health Chapter.
  2. We have nurtured small Community Based Organizations to self-sustaining organizations through volunteer placement and capacity building.
  3. More than 30 farmers have been trained on the principles of mushroom production. In addition, more than 500 people have been sensitized to the nutritional benefits of mushrooms.
  4. Practical training materials on sunflower and mushroom production have been developed.
